Instructions to Send Compressed Data files to Satori Support Team Detailed instructions on locating,
compressing and sending your data files to the Satori support team for
analysis or repair. First you must locate where your data files are. Make sure NO COMPUTERS are running Satori. If you have any doubts, reboot all of them. From either the Workstation or the Server, or a stand alone computer, Press the Start button and select Run. Type in satori.ini and press enter. The 3rd line down will read: Data= The location after the Data= is the location of the files you need to compress and send to Satori. Use either My Computer of Explorer to navigate to that location. In this example we will use My Computer. Press Start, then select My Computer. You will get a window with a group of icon or list of available resources. If you location is for example c:\sb9w\satori, then you will need to double click the C drive and locate the sb9w folder. When located, right mouse click the folder and select to Send To, then Compress Zipped folder. It will take only a minute or so to complete. You will then have a file called sb9w.zip located on the C drive. This is the compressed contents of your data for Satori. If you data exists on a server and you are on a workstation, and you followed the above instructions then the compressed file will be on the server when completed. Open an email program. You ISP or email provider must allow to send the size of the file. Hotmail and Yahoo can send 10 to 15 mg, others are different. If you have trouble sending it, it may be because it is too large. Contact Satori to send the file over the internet in an alternative way. If the file is less than the maximum size you can send it to satorisoftware@hotmail.com Make sure in the body of the email you detail what office it is from and the exact nature of the challenges. If challenges exist with particular patients, include their pt nums in the email. If sending in data for conversion from another software, or for evaluation and repair from a Satori installation, send the data on any CD/DVD media. You may also use a flash drive or SD Card. Satori is not responsible for storage of any submitted data. All media that submitted data is sent to Satori on is destroyed. All data that Satori uses for conversion or evaluation is removed from any and all computers within 7 days of completion of work. This ensures your data's safety here at Satori. .
