With LogMeIn Rescue you have total control of the session.  You can disconnect at any time, and see exactly what the technician sees.  This allows our support staff to solve issues much quicker and more accurately, providing you with better support.

Detailed instructions:

When prompted with the first screen below click the Download.  If the small bar appears below your links in Internet Explorer (2nd picture down) click the bar and select to download.  Follow the instructions then in the window below and select Run.

   

Once the applet is download it will ask you to run it.  Select to run it.

Once running, one of several possible programs that protect your computer will ask you whether to allow the program to run or not.  Select Yes, or UnBlock, or Allow from any of these choices.

When the tech has finished, or if you wish to disconnect at any time, just close the applet window and the browser window you used to connect and the session will end, and the small software installed will uninstall automatically.
